You are so much more orgasmic than you think

You are so much more orgasmic than you think

noun \ˈȯr-ˌga-zəm\

Intense or paroxysmal excitement; especially :  an explosive discharge of neuromuscular tensions at the height of sexual arousal that is usually accompanied by the ejaculation of semen in the male and by vaginal contractions in the female.

“Paroxysmal excitement”? Hmm…

How would you define the experience of an ‘orgasm’? What does it mean to you?

Does the word ‘orgasm’ evoke feelings of joy, excitement and relaxed openness?

Or does it feel like a burden, something to do, something to “achieve”?

Are you a woman who “orgasms easily”? Or does having an orgasm feel about as easy as trying to catch a slippery fish with your bare hands?

Statistically, 75% of women don’t experience orgasm consistently through intercourse.

The big majority of women can only climax when their clitoris is being stimulated.

About 10% of women are considered ‘anorgasmic’ =  completely unable to reach orgasm.

Or so they say…

I’ve got some news for you:

These statistics ONLY apply if we define ‘orgasm’ as the genital spasm that happens at the peak of sexual excitement.

But orgasm – this earth shattering experience of being melted open and surrendered into the bliss of being – is so much more than the genital sneeze most people narrow it down to.

Simply by expanding the definition of what constitutes an orgasm – you’ll probably find that you’re much more orgasmic than you think.

This is about how you live your entire life, and it’s not limited to the sexual experience.

When life becomes orgasmic, there is no end to the possibilities for pleasure that you begin to experience, more and more, and more…

In my opinion, this is one of the deepest spiritual practices we can ever explore as women.

With that said, I want to invite you to have lunch with me and my beloved friend and fellow tantrika Shashi Solluna.

Shashi is the founder of Tao Tantric Arts and was one of the two teachers at the Sacred Femininity Teacher Training I did in Bali Eco Village last month. She’s also one of the highest level tantric practitioners I’ve met in my life.

This video was shot spontaneously one lunch in our villa in Bali when we had just gotten out of the swimming pool (still dripping ;) ) and our friend Carrie Stiles from Chloe Valentine Photography went and got her camera to record our lunch conversation…

Join us as we share about letting your food enter you like a latin lover – and how orgasms can be a portal into the divine…

The Urban dictionary definitions of orgasm include: “The meaning of life!”, “The best possible feeling. Ever”, “What occurs during the course of an Herbal Essence commercial”, “A sexy liquid explosion”, “An orgasm is proof that there is a God.” and:

“A sign that indicates its time to stop having sex. Without this valuable indicator, one would have sex until they spontaneously combusted.”

And now over to you:
What is your definition of ‘orgasm’?

And what ‘non-sexual’ orgasmic experiences have you had – on the dance floor, in nature, through breathing, eating, being in nature, sky diving etc etc?…

Ronja, I am so glad you are entering my life. It starts opening up my limited way of looking at and experience with’sexuality’. The way you live and the things you share, feeds such a hunger inside of me, opens up a field I know it was there and I was longing for it for so long, but I couldn’t find the entrance. It brings so much joy already, even if there’s not (yet) a man around in my life. I feel as if this is ‘preparing’ for ‘the real wedding’ ^_^ <3
